Our ceramic kiln stilts are produced using a proprietary hot-press molding and sintering process that creates a dense, stable, high-strength refractory body. High-temperature alloy points are precision-machined and center-ground to provide consistent positioning, lasting durability and minimal contact with glazed surfaces.
Kilncor nitride-bonded silicon carbide shelves are engineered for exceptional strength and dimensional stability. Unlike traditional cordierite kiln shelves that may gradually warp and require regular flipping, these shelves are designed to remain flat through repeated firings without being rotated between loads. Their thin, lightweight construction also reduces heavy lifting, allowing studios to load more efficiently and handle shelves with greater ease.
