Kiln stilts are used for glazed, low-fire, or earthenware firings to prevent the glaze from adhering to the kiln shelf. Rather than placing glazed bisque directly onto a kiln shelf, stilts support the piece and keep it from sticking during firing.

The 100 mm Bar Stilt is made from durable ceramic refractory material with a molded base for strength and balance. It features a straight line of precision-refined, high-temperature metal points designed to withstand repeated use while leaving minimal contact marks after firing.
